Nonprofit & Faith Based

nonprofit

Our non-profit status allows King’s Daughters to offer our residents a level of care they will not find elsewhere.

As a non-profit, we have the ability to focus on quality of care, instead of earnings. This means that proceeds are constantly reinvested into improving the physical environment, accommodations, and services for our residents.

Midland's only faith-based assisted living & nursing home

Did you know that studies show embracing a faith can help seniors heal and/or manage life’s challenges? Yes, research also shows that religious/spiritual seniors have a better framework for understanding the purpose of life, feeling hopefully, and coping with chronic conditions.

We were founded as a faith-based senior home. Our environment and everything we do is intended to encourage relationships, independence, and engagement in life – through spiritual, physical, social, and recreational programs.

King’s Daughters and Sons of Midland is an ecumenical Christian service organization that engages in educational and philanthropic activities. Founded in 1914, it was responsible for the creation of King’s Daughters Home and two currently operating social service agencies – Visiting Nurse Association and Family and Children’s Services. The group is involved in health clinics, scholarship opportunities and Christmas projects, among many other programs. Midland King’s Daughters Endowment Fund exists solely to support the operations of King’s Daughters Home. Through these added funds, the Home’s exceptional assisted living and nursing care services are available at an affordable cost to residents.
